The exhibition was a part of a three step creative project about changing, re-building and finding inspiration in your old and current environment, shown at the 8th floor of Greenhouse.
The Icelandic based artist Sigrün Erna in Berlin on a art residency is collaborating with the Berlin based photographer Ingimar Flóvent with the goal to outsource where inspiration comes from, and how much part your environmental experiences takes in it.
The exhibition includes work from the Icelandic well known photographer Marino Flóvent and pieces from a workshop on the theme that took place here in Berlin.
Sigrün Erna Sigurðardóttir is an Icelandic artist living in Reykjavík. She is a visual artist working with drawing, painting, textile and photography.
Ingimar Flóvent is a Berlin based photographer, writer and visual artist with a focus on street photography and sponteneous portraits.
Marinó Flóvent is a professional photographer located in Reykjavík who specializes in portrait and fashion.
“It’s about researching the artist’s environment in two parts. First to reflect on things they know from their environment, country, people and nature, and using it collectively as inspiration.”
